Move Over, Keogh!
Phil Keogh, that is, cause Food Network's ultimate, Tyler Florence, is at the helm of the newest cross-country racin' show, The Great Food Truck Race. And, man oh MAN, is it GREAT!
I am completely in love with this show.
1) It's about food trucks. Nothin' like gettin' your food on the go from a tasty, clean (?) truck.
2) It's a race. Um...enough said.
3) I absolutely love watching Tyler doing his best Phil. I seriously think the FN heads gave him 10 seasons of Amazing Race to watch just to study Phil's point and cocking of the eyebrow. Classic Keogh. Tyler's good, but not as good as our Phil. (Who is really???)
4) Speaking of the Race...not only is Ty doing his Phil, but there are also Road Blocks...um, I mean TRUCK STOPS along the way. Whoever wins these gets immunity.
5) Yes, teams are having meltdowns, there are attitudes, and there are greasy guys who never get to shower. PLUS, there's food. It's like God touched the FN programmers and told them exactly what would pull me in. (Well, not the greasy guys. I just like to root against them and yell at them to shower.)
If you love eatin', cookin', and racin', you GOTS TO tune in. I'm just sorry my post is so late. This Sunday will be the third week, but it's also Free On Demand, if you're blessed with that cable perk. If not, set those DVR's stat!
Bon appetit!

Food Network & Cooking Network - a little "Travel", and we're good except for that Aarti Paarti part.
