10 Years Ago: A Love Post
I married the love of my life 10 years ago today.
I love him. I can't imagine my life without him. He endures my downs, and he celebrates my ups. We get frustrated with each other, but we never, ever doubt our love for each other. He is patient with me (when I cry at everything from It's a Wonderful Life to the Walking Dead), indulges me ("Sure. You want a molten lave cake? Have one!"), and takes grand adventures with me (from Paris to Vegas, NYC to DC, St. Louis to Chicago). He spoils me with shinys, toys, and gadgets. But above all, he loves me for who I am.
Oh, yeah, and he's helped me make the best two babies in the world. They complete us. With them, we have everything and want for nothing. (Except for maybe more hugs.)
I just hope somewhere in his heart and mind, he knows how much I love him, too...even though I won't play epic, mind-numbing board games with him.
